Screen Saver ??
Thursday, December 22, 2011 by LizMarr | Discussion: OS Customization
Does Stardock have a screen saver creator or do people use their own. I have a nice commercial licensed SS builder and was wondering if that would work. It's not fancy but works well. I do wonder how someone got snows while using it. What are some of the favorites?
I wrote this earlier using Windows 8. The more I use it, the more I hate it. Obviously it didn't make it to the forums.

PS the early version of Win 8 is not loaded fully yet
for public use - RC1 is due out in about a month or so
might be better loaded for you use ..... Final Release
is due by the end of 2012 ... it will be great , i think ...
do a dual boot like i do ( actually ) i do a triple boot with
vista - win 7 - win 8 ..... then boot the one up
that gets the job done as needed ..... Az

I used to use MG Shareware's Screen Saver Builder (commercial version) but they no longer have it. Now I'm using Screen Saver Factory 5 which is nearly identical (really identical) but has more of the bells and whistles you like when doing up a branded screen saver. Unfortunately, the user license generator for one doesn't work with the other, so I'm stuck making new savers for the old ones. When I get done with my book I'll probably finish that and put them in (roses of course, and Christmas lights among others) Book should be done any day, I keep looking at the manuscript and finding something else to tweak.

No, Stardock doesn't have a screen saver maker, yes, people use their own. But SD does have a screensaver gallery.
