OK, gazillion years ago I loved WindowBlinds to death. I seem to remember a right click menu or something that had one of the options to cascade or stack the closed titlebars. HELP! Please tell me I'm not crazy and how to do that with today's ultra-modern, prettier-than-I-remember-it, WindowBlinds.
While I got your attention, is there a way to freely move a dock in object dock? (rather than in and out from whichever side it's on) The tabs dock lets you hall it all over the place. I see pictures of desktops with one lonely button out from the rest. Is that a functioning button or just something to show off the dock with?
I'm getting this pestering down good. Don't worry, I'm learning the programs and how to skin too (just wait until I get stuck there - and I know I will)

Set the dock to "Float" in the "Position". Where you'll find that varies with the OD version... but that only exists for the Tabbed Dock, not the Zoomer. The Zoomer only lives top/bottom, left or right sides. You can vary the distance to the edge, but that's it.

Bah, no joy. The WB menu isn't in the choices for double-click or right-click (WB 7)
Too back about OD, I think that would be a great feature to have single icons all over the place to click on (show off icons too) Unless perhaps it is part of another program.

If I understand what you are wanting,you can use DesktopX and creat a shortcut object, or IconPackager. Make the shortcut and change the icon and move it where you want it.
Not that I'd want to. I have a total of one icon on my desktop, the Recycle Bin.

You can make a dock in Desktop X. You Can make your own icons in DX. If you are interested PM me for more info.

not sure I explained it right, WindowBlinds have a feature that you can set up that you click (right,double) and it minimizes the window to its title bar. (rolls up) Years ago, there was a menu on the right hand side next to the minimize icon that said tile (and some other things) So, instead of having all these long, skinny strips horizontal across your screen, you have a nice little stack. It was a nice way to mange the bars and you didn't loose them as often.
Top one: Usual disarray. Bar without writing is explorer.
Bottom one: Nice and stacked (Firefox is showing it's bad habit of going invisible when rolled up, it returns when it is unrolled. As you can see, it doesn't always do it.) Used to be a way to get it to do this, I remember sorting them by opening the window in question and hitting tile again. That put that window on top (or was it the bottom?)

Not a WB person but I believe it depends on the skin. Some can roll up while others cannot. You should be able to drag them in place with your cursor. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you are correct on the ability to roll up a blind however you can auto arrange the windows (frames) via a choice selection by right clicking on the taskbar and selecting one of the options. in win7 you can also cycle through your open windows by using the alt-tab combination.

The task bar just treats them like regular windows. If they are rolled up they unroll to do any of the three things listed. I think that @Uvah might be right - it might be a function of the skin. Now I wonder if I might have the skins I used back then (and if they still work) The old computer I use as a server and web cam and soon, I hope, a weather server.

for windows7, right click on the task bar for "cascade windows" or "stacked" or "side by side".
not a dock person so the other question...
