Glass covering, pane

I need to find out how to make it look like a thin sheet of glass is covering an object. Can anyone help?

Just a normal glassy look. I just got eye candy and already have paint shop 8 and would like to learn how to make a glass cover for weather object. It doesn't seem to be to easy.

Go over to Skinartistry, knatzz has posted a tutorial with a work file for doing the glass thing. It's written for Photoshop, but having the file makes it pretty self-explanatory
