Theme Problem in SKS7
Thursday, December 1, 2011 by LightStar | Discussion: Customization Software
Anybody know how to fix this problem? There is a 1 pixel wide transparent vertical line between the left and right start menu areas, and in the middle of the bottom start menu issue. I tried everything I can think of, hope someone can help.
Problem only occurs in Windows 7.

Nevermind all that, I loaded your older one on Win7 and I see the line on it. None of what I suggested is it.
However, I did notice (on your old one) that your math is not quite right on the cutting of the start panel.
Top section width= 390
Laft side width= 190
Right side width= 199
Left and right added is 389. That might be the culprit, but I have not tried to fix it yet.

ok, so I recut the start panel, and the line was still there, but I did find your problem....
Right Hand Side/Places List/Text Tab. You have the left text margin to -1. Set it to zero, and *poof* the gap is gone.

There is something else you may need to do...I find that if I have the left side of the start panel (programs) right margin set at zero, that line will show up too. So, I always set my right margin on the left side to at least 1. The right side of the start panel doesn't seem to be affected by the margins. Just my two cents worth...

I agree with you MJ. all my sections in the start menu seem to work better with at least 1 pixel set for margins, especially where they connect to another section.

My gut is telling me that you may have that line on your right side graphic. Any amount of trans along the edge would show that, even if it's not very visible on the graphic. I would zoom in on that graphic in PS as far as possible, and see if there is any bit of trans on that edge.
Edit: I wouldn't mind having a closer look at the blind if you like....
Edit again: You making that with layers in SKS?
Edit again, again: Is there any animation on that? If so, perhaps it's on the animation layer?
