objeck dock and cpu utilization

I am using windows 2000 sp4 and even after several revisions objectdock for no apparent reason takes over my cpu with 99% utlization. I can quit objectdock and all goes back to normal. I am not experiencing this with windows xp. I would be grateful for any guidance on this as I really like the app.

no i have removed all docklets not using the task piece or anything.
