icon packager and keyboard launchpad

hi when i apply a icon packager package it removes the keyboard launchpad from notification area only restores after a reboot thanks for any help and it would be nice if in keyboard launchpad for a option to show the notification or not to

thanks just checking ive used many program launchers in the past and most were buggy is there another way in icon packager to change the shortcut overlay as the only thing i found that worked was taking a blank icon and replacing the overlay shortcut in the icon package im using at the time thanks for reply ![]()

What OS are you using hangdawg ? 32 or 64 bit ?

hi windows 7 64 bit i took a blank icon that came with a reg. file i just replaced the shortcut overlay icon in junoir icon package with the blank icon i didnt use the reg. file and applied works great that way just didnt know if there was a easier way because changing packages id have to replace the icon package shortcut overly with the blank 1 but if there isnt a easier way this way works just fie thanks

Applying an icon package restarts explorer, (it needs to do so in order to apply certain icons). This in turn causes you to lose some icons in the systray. Been going on for a while now. Your complaint happens with several apps too, like Yahoo Messenger, core temp, evga precision, etc.
To fix, a reboot isn't necessary. Just close Keyboard Launchpad via task manager, then start it back up.
