Hey guys! Thanks for all the concern! I'm alive and breathing.

Needed to take a break. Very frustrated with the medical field and my situation. The only way I can explain my problem is this...take one of those blood pressure things they wrap around your arm and pump it up till it feels like your bones are going to crack...now imagine your whole arm covered in those as well as your left side...that's one part of what this feels like 24/7. Finally got in to see a "family doctor" and to make an appointment with a Neurologist after several years of trying. They were so concerned with my problem they finally made the appointment...1 year from now. I'll just leave it at that...the rest is just to depressing. But again thanks everyone for the concern.

Tell me about it. And oh...they make damn sure they get paid...in fact they go out of their way to make sure of that.

He's heard about you (and smedley). They had to threaten him and his family to get you in at all... Naaah. Upsets me as well, bud.

Yeah...and they like to boast about treatment in the U.K. being bad! Ha! I've told doctors here what I think the problem "might" be and they look at me like deer caught in the headlights! And I use the correct terminology for their given field as well..."I" had to explain it to them what it was! It's downright scary what these "doctors" don't know and get paid for just guessing.

And you go into these clinics and they are allotted "15 minutes" to spend with you...with a student wannabe doctor. On top of that I take in all my medical records ahead of time...like a week or 2...and they don't even bother looking at them. Basically I'm screwed.

I'm so glad to see that you're still mighty pissed off with the medicos in your parts, WG... means you're still with us.

However, I think they should extract their digits from their rectums and get to fixin'  I year from now is not soon enough.

There's nothing worse than pain and discomfort [other than bankers & politicians] so let's hope that 12 month wait is drastically reduced and you're on all kinds of exotic meds real soon.... mmmmm.... mmeeeeds.  Shiver me timbers, I'd even swaller tha pink ones if'n they does tha business.

Unfortunately, the meds they've been trying to give me have been worthless...stuff like Vicodin, Fentanyl and Oxycontin has no effect on me...at least not in the doses they've been giving me. And if you ask for anything stronger they look at you like your some sort of drug addict just trying to get drugs.  And not sure I want to wait yet another year for more disappointment.

Don't get me started about the US Health System. My fiancee lives in the States and has MS and yeah, well, that's as much as I'll say 'cause beyond that I'll get seriously p***ed and feel like punching stuff.

What I will say is this... FOR SHAME! For shame on everyone of these doctors that puts a dollar sign on someones health and well-being.

Stick around, Steve. The doctors may not care too much about you, but you mean so much to the people of this community.

Hey Web... you should tell the doctor he has to wait a year to get paid. Maybe that will get him off his lazy ass.

I got banned from my neurologist this week. Actually, that's not entirely true. I was banned by the whole practice. One of them put a note in my file that says I have 'behavioral issues'. Can you fucking believe that?! Me! Behavioral issues!!!! I know, I know. You're all as shocked as I was.  They went as far as to say they would prefer I not even come into the building. SO I leered at 'em from the parking lot as my wife went in to collect my files. Yup. That wife. The one with 'The List'. Guess who's on it now.

Gizmo..I pray you find relief and help and hope so very soon. I won't say I can relate but you'll be in my thoughts when I can't sleep at night and can't do the things I really want to do.

Well from what I know about your problem your probably going through the same sort of thing as I am. Sleepless nights...anxiousness...frustration...constant pain and discomfort...no end in sight...wanting to do normal things but the body says no...and doctors without a clue.

I think it's time again to check in on WebGizmos again.
