Been awhile but I finally got me a nother laptop. HP Compac 8510w. Intel Centrino dual core 17500 @ 2.2 gHz, 2 gigs ram, 150 gig HD, 1920 x 1200 resolution screen, nVidia control panel. Ccleaner...MalwareBytes...MSE and everything is up to date. Sweet machine for $180.00 US refurbished. Win 7 Enterprise Edition. I don't know what that is, 64 bit. Gonna get back into stuff just as soon as I get it set up. Question...will my 320 gig HD from the other HP be compatible with this one. Can I swap it out?

All I can say is I have been using MSE for a few months now and I have not found it to be slow at detection. I had downloaded a couple infected files at different times and detection happened both times before they had completely downloaded. The best security is to stay away from deviantart.

I had one of those once, we dated for a while. It was embarassing when her neighbors would come down to her apartment to check on her safety....
True story....

To reply 13...if the laptop HD is removed from the old one you're saying I can put it in an enclosure and use that as another external drive? That would very interesting.

Okay so I'm having problems getting stuff to work. Objectdock is running but CFX will not. I installed it, ran it, chose a cursor and poof! no cursor. In fact it disappears and I have to play around to find it by watching it does to stuff on the screen. Did an uninstall then reinstall and got the same thing. Help please.
Another thing. How do I get Bins back?

Yeah most of the processes are. it says the same for Firefox even though I'm using it right now. I wasn't accessing any files on my drive at that second so that's probably why.
