You might try learning some basic , Visual Basic as well. VB Learning edition is pretty inexpensive and will help you with the building blocks, so to speak.
I have it, but am still very much in the tinker-toy stages of those building blocks. It has helped though. At least now, I can read script without ripping at my eyeballs and having my teeth itch!

Tiggz, Gef, Martin are all moderators and all are amazing and others can help you too. You might want to head over and sign up and look at the DX Foibles that have been posted. It might help a little. You can get help and people can show you how to do things there just be nice and they will be nice to you. Hope you head over and sign up. It is the DesktopX Project. Anyways glad to see more people going to use DesktopX. It is a great program (I obviously tihnk that since I am the admin at the forums but still it is a great resource usually a response will happen in less than 1 day and as fast as 30 minutes.

UpsideDownGC thanks for the heads up. I think I might just do that but first I have to renew my Object DeskTop so I am dealing with the latest and greatest but thats just a matter of my getting off my duff mailing stardock since i dont do transactions on line any more looking forward to getting back in the saddle ( neh winnie)
