Another dark one from me.

I like what I see so far, but it's hard to tell what it's going to look like window-wise. I like your "style", in any case.

Taken way wrong, I was trying to helpfully put forward my own, simple views on WB design as it relates to usabilty.
no one said ANYthing about freaking cookie cutting. ![]()

Its all good.

Wow.. once again someone overstates their own importance and assumes the whole world is talking about him... damn...
I was simply complimenting Cyndie's style, nothing more.. period!
Get off your high horse John and quit reading things that people aren't saying about you.

hmmm, everything looks so much darker in the shot than it does on my screen....

Try a brighter background. ![]()
Just adding my professional opinion..... ![]()

If the background is going to be the wallpaper then you might want to choose to include at least one or two lighter versions.
It doesn't take away from the fact that this is going to one very nice theme.

You were promoted on your work not other peoples. You do your thing.

I'm definitely going to have to lighten everything a bit...and maybe calibrate my monitor again. I sent it to someone to test out, and the darkness causes some loss of detail on their screen. Lighter backgrounds didn't help either.

i like this a lot. Another uniquely original work. ![]()

OK, so I set my monitor back to factory default settings, which actually made it brighter, not darker. I ran through a couple monitor calibration sites, and everything seems ok. I even set the brightness on my monitor to ZERO to see if I could match the brightness (or lack thereof) in that shot and could not. So...why is that shot so dark?
I'm still going to brighten the blind a little, but this is bugging me. If that shot is too dark, then my shot when I upload it will be too, and it wont show what it really looks like when installed.

I'm using an old CRT monitor, which is a bit dark, and I'm not able to see any borders in the screenshot. A lighter wallpaper might help.

Brightened the blind, tried a different screenshot method, lets see how it looks this time.....

Edit: Muuuuch better.

Not sure if you already named it, Dominion is good, but I really would like Inferno, Suspiria or Revenge on this one.
The skin looks like a gem (a jewel from Hell, of course) with a lovely devilish touch...Just excellent, Lady X.
btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ( big sorry for delay) !!!

Cyndie,
Your skins are ORIGINAL, UNIQUE and very very classy. I hope you don't turn in to a cookie cutter, and stay true to the artistic visions that make your skins beautiful.
