New to desktopx and need help with themes

hello all,
I'm new to this and not very familiar so bare with me please. I downloaded a theme and went to Desktopx to load it. It loaded fine but my taskbar didn't change color and from looking at the theme it should have. Any ideas? All help is appreciated!

I think what you are looking at (if it's the screenshot) is the taskbar with the Longhorn Slate WindowBlinds skin applied. You'll need WindowBlinds (if you don't already have it) and the Longhorn Slate WindowBlind.
