CursorFX and Multiplicity Pro
Default cursor sucks.
Sunday, August 7, 2011 by RedneckDude | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Hey guys, I wonder if there is a fix for my current problem?
I use CursorFX and Multiplicity Pro on 3 PCs. 2 towers and a laptop. When I move the cursor to a secondary desktop, it takes on the cursor I'm running on that desktop, as it should. But when I return to the primary desktop, the cursor goes to the default windows cursor.
Is there a fix for this?

I'll bet this has been covered and forgotten.....

Long term problem, reported several times. For me even better the cursor on the primary disappears totally when using FX AND MPC. So no FX for me. And I fear the bugs will go the DesktopX way. Kept silent until no one cares anymore.

I have determined that it only happens when the tray icon is missing for Multiplicity.

Missing, as in the icon is there, but invisible. It is a known bug with Multiplicity and I have a thread about it in these forums.

The issue should be unrelated to the missing system tray icon image.
Unfortunately this problem is not a Multiplicity one so it would need to be resolved from the CursorFX side. CursorFX is not detecting the cursor switch that happens when you switch back to the primary and so is allowing the default cursor to show.
