Missing Start-Up Icons

New to Skinning

Some of the skins I try to load hide the start-up icons. How can I change the skin so they show? I do not use quick launch bar, which wouldn't help anyway. Should I try to create a new toolbar which contains my start-up icons or is there a tweak in Window blinds or skin Studio that I'm supposed to use.

Windowblinds won't hide your start-up icons. That is a Windows setting that you are referring to. Sometimes if a startup program is inactive and the setting is to "hide when inactive" that will happen. Right click the Start Button, Properties, taskbar, customize. Under current items, when you see a icon that says "hide when inactive" you can change it to "always show". click it and use the drop down menu to change it. That should fix the problem.

I tried that and it didn't help.
I was trying to load a skin called Beige and it hid ALL my start-up icons. I'm using WindowsXP with the latest version Of WindowBlinds.

What do you mean by start-up icons? The icons in your system tray? the icons in your start-up folder? And when you don't use a WB skin these start-up icons are there? Trying to figure out what you mean so that maybe me or someone else can help you.
