Sysmetrix am broke......and unbroke. Fixed itself

I updated one of my skins to include a media player and weather section. When I applied the changes all went fine until I changed the WondowBlinds skin to match it. Then the background became visible. I unchecked where it says make background copy the wallpaper background and I got an error code 53 and symetrix stopped working and closed. I'm getting this on all of the skins now. I backed up the themes folder, uninstalled sysmetrix and re-installed it and no change. I still get a visible background on all my skins. Wanted to post this earlier but for some reason I couldn't get to WC because of a 500 internal servor error. I don't know if Nic is still supporting Sysmetrix or not but I do remember reading somewhere that he has given up on it. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? Notice I have the box checked for making the background invisible.

Turns out that's what it was. I ran the battery out where I was. Got to where I was going and when I booted up it worked. Never occurred to me to reboot my laptop.
