I had to disable skinning in WindowBlinds 7 for Excel after applying the following update from Microsoft:
Update for Microsoft Office 2007 System (KB2539530)

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2007 System. This update provides the latest fixes to Microsoft Office 2007 System. Additionally, this update adds support for the new Indian rupee currency symbol.

I had a problem with Excel 2007 using the latest Beta of WB it would not run the window correctly unless it was in the full window mode if I minimized to any size excel just would not function properly with the latest Beta of WB, I had two (2) options that would solve the problem 1. Install the latest Non beta Version. (which I eventually did) or I could have excluded Excel from being skinned which also solved the issue. Since I wanted Excel skinned I chose to run the latest certified version of WB

Had to disable it why? Seems like a pretty vague report.

Because Excel 2007 unless run in full window size would not paint/draw correctly, items would not show up on screen until you placed the mouse over the cell, if I tried to go to a different work sheet when it was anything other than a full sized window it would not show up you had to drag the mouse over all the cells to get item in the cells to show up. This only happened if you had the window less than full size. I eliminated the video card as the problem by installing old known good drivers, problem still persisted. The problem could not be replicated if I exempted WB from skinning excel 2007. I then uninstalled my WB Beta 7.20 C Beta of WB. I then installed the Non Beta version 7.20 of WB and could not duplicate the problem
