Theme Manager Suites Update

Monday, June 20, 2011 by Philly0381 | Discussion: Theme Manager

Hi ya folks

This will probably not be a whole lot of interest to most folks but I am making an adjustment as to how I present Theme Manager Suites.

I will now be including in the suite description links to Screenshot Gallery Library uploads that show the theme as it is being used on community members desktops.  The suites have included in the past screenshots of desktops showing all the included themed skins in the suite.  What I have failed to show was how community members desktops looked.  I will also do my best to include the desktops in the screenshot for the suite, desktop space permitting.

Not anything really special, that is unless you are a Screenshooter, then it just might mean something.

I also have not been mentioning anything about what versions of software (Rainlander/SysMetrix etc.) that the themed skins included with the suite are made for.  I will now add a note that says unless otherwise stated on the themed skin download page all skins are made for the current versions of software.

Keep smiling and have a great day.

I'm a Theme Manager fan, even if it's sometimes wonky. If it worked flawlessly, you could easily return to a previous desktop. That's a great idea, so it's good to see that someone is dedicated to it's use and preservation.

I think it's an excellent idea. Not only does it give the screenshooter more exposure, and give the end user some ideas about what would look good with it, it also give's more exposure to other skin creators as well. Everybody wins!
