Cookie Handling and WinCustomize.

Monday, April 12, 2004 by Essencay | Discussion: Stardock Software

I am on Earthlink dialup and very recently when I cam to WC I got a page with instructions about some changes here in the way cookies are used and to logoff, kill cookies, etc. I followed the directions and logged back in. Everything is okay and everytime I come back to WC during the same dialup session, I am showing as logged in (which is what I want). However now it seems that when I turn on my computer and dial-in, say like the next day, I have to log in again (which I never had to do before). I haven't changed anything with my computer settings. How do I get it back to the way it was before (automatically logged in) when I come to WC?

I am using IE6, Earthlink Total Access (dial-up, net acceleration and cookie handling), Norton's Personal Firewall 2002

It's been doing that to me also from time to time, and I'm on a cable line and using Mozilla. I suspect TPTB are tweaking the site, thus requiring us to login again.
