User Levels

I am wondering if anyone can give me more details on advancing your user level. How long does it take. What is considered the skinning community and do you have to be a good artist and have GREAT stuff to become an apprentice. I mean I try but I suck. I am still trying at maing my first WindowBlinds skin which will likely just be a simple sports themed one.

In order to get promoted, you have to be around here for awhile, and make good stuff. Helping out on the messageboards is a big plus too. You have to make great stuff to become a Journeyman, since you're stuff gets auto-approved at that point. Keep working at it. It took me a year to get promoted. And besides, getting promoted isnt really a huge deal. You just get to rate, and have cooler titles in front of your name. Not that big of a deal.

But I think that may have been an issue with the wierd characters in my nickname.
