Changing the "throbber" in IE

A long time ago I used WebBlinds and liked it mainly because I could have fun changing the throbber. I am not a skinner/icon designer or anything of that nature...just a real good downloader 
Is there a way for me to change the throbber without using WebBlinds (which isn't available anymore)? How does one make throbbers? Is there a site that has throbbers (and instructions?) I would like to google "throbber" but am afraid what might show up! If anyone can help me, I'rd really appreciate it.

Which version of Windows are you running? Just that the XP version of TweakUI allows you to change the throbber. It includes one more to use or it allows you to specify a custom one.
