DX Widget problem

Saturday, March 6, 2004 by DragonKid | Discussion: Stardock Software

When I try to use a widget for DX, I always get a message telling me that DesktopX is not installed on my machine. I have DesktopX 2.1 (full version) and they [the widgets] won't detect the dang program. Someone please help me!

I'm knockin off for the night and I already know your answer, so here ya go:

OK..and this is for anyone that hasn't done it yet and want to simplify their life. You need to save your Skin folders to somewhere on your HD and then un-install all Stardock proggies. D e l e t e the C:\Program Files\Object Desktop Folder. Re-boot and install this version http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral130.exe of SDC and install all the proggies you want thru that. Move your saved Skin folders to their correct App folders, now located here: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop.

All will now be right with the world
