WindowFX - Draging Windows Problem
Friday, February 27, 2004 by Rocky Nimda | Discussion: Stardock Software
Whenever I have WindowFX running, and I try to move a window by clicking in the TitleBar area of the window and dragging it, my computer freezes up. I have to go into the Task Manager and kill wfxload.exe to free it up.
I read about the new features in the app and really find the new scaling feature to be something I would like to use. I just find my self moving windows around my desktop all the time. When I launch an application, the first thing I do is re-position it. The problem I seem to be experiencing makes it unusable though.
Could it be a setting that I have defined?
I am running the Full Stardock Central apps, not the trial version.

I am not familiar with nview or hydravision, so I would have to say that they aren't running. If it's an app that I would have had to install, then the answer is a definite no.

I will have to play around with things to see if I can narrow it down some more.

Do you have semi transparent window dragging enabled?
Also do you have anything running like nview or hydravision?
