Virtual desktops?

Friday, February 20, 2004 by balnes | Discussion: Stardock Software

In the Control Center of Object Dektop (OD) there is something that looks like a virtual desktop. If so, how do I use it and can I make it much smaller? If not, well what is it, really?

Still a novice in OD

Sincerely Bjarte Alnes

I haven't used ControlCenter for quite some time. The lack of "skinnability" was a real turn off for me. I don't think you can make it smaller, unless it has changed since I used it. It does include a virtual desktop manager if I recall correctly. You simply click the different squares to switch desktops. Sorry, I'm not much help, but maybe someone else can answer your questions. At least this post will serve to 'bump' your thread to the top of the list.

Some alternatives to ControlCenter are discussed in this thread:
