TV Streaming
Any good sites?
Saturday, February 26, 2011 by JuniorCrooks | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I have been trying to find a good site for streaming live TV. I am not looking for recorded stuff and I do not mind paying for it. My cable is not the best and though I am not a huge TV fanatic there are a couple of channels I would like to be able to watch from time to time.
Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot Philly. I am looking for something more on the live side such as hockey and just about any sports but I also like science and documentaries. I like the discovery channel, history television, national geographic or anything informative. I will take a look at the links you posted though.
I checked your link for hulu but unfortunately it told me streaming was only available within the US.

Yup, so that will limit you somewhat to streaming sites.

I stumbled on it last night. I watched the full length documentary on Ancient UFO's. From the History Channel

There is Netflicks. They have a one month free membership. If you like it's only $8.00 a month after. TV, movies. Still cheap as borch. ![]()
I am checking it out now.

Netflix is great, tons of great stuff. My que is maxed at 500 movies/shows. There are alot of devices that will stream Netflix to your TV too. Some DVD players, X-Box 360, PS3, etc... The only downside is you can't sort your que, without hacking the page.

JuniorCrooks take a look at Hulu, http://www.hulu.com/
You can sign up and use it free or they do have a Hulu Plus version. I'm using the free version right now but considering getting the Plus. There are TV programs and Movies both new and old. I'm sure there are others that folks will recommend.
Okay, just read your thread again, so you are looking for live TV, like sports? What are the channels you are looking for?
If you like baseball look at http://mlb.mlb.com/index.jsp
