IconPacakager themes suddenly won't load............
Sunday, January 25, 2004 by Leo the Lion | Discussion: Stardock Software
Well i have just spent the last hour and half trying to figure this out but i be blowed if i can see the answer........
Anyway tried to load a couple of IconPackager themes tonight - Gabes Futurist and Overbyte IP packages......and everytime i try to install them i get the same error message......Error:Failed to load ODZip.dll Please reinstall the application to solve this problem.
I am running the latest 2.50 version of IP
Before i go through the laborious task of saving my themes and reinstalling IP has any one else come across this problem or any other solutions apart from reinstallation or suggestions. Have i just got to reinstall IP or do i have to reinstall other products.
Guess i am tired so its time for bed but if anyone has anything to help please shout and i will give 'em a whirl tommorrow

If you re-install anything, make it SDC. Before doing that copy the file from C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\IconDeveloper or C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\SkinStudio to this folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock and see if that fixes it. If not, re-install SDC.

Hus.......Thanks mate, got up this morning and tried it but still the same problem
Gary......Did the file copying thing but alas no joy BUT then i totally ripped Stardock Central out of my system and even deleted some of the bits the uninstall left behind. Then i gingerley made my way over to Stardock praying my whole system was not going to fall down and downloaded the Stardock Central .exe.
At this point the Lion was praying to God
I dared not peep after it downloaded......I installed it and just could not look
Looked at the screen and everything was there......OK, i thought lets go play with IconPackager now........loaded up Gabes two themes and....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW - THERE THEY ARE
The Lion then ran around the garden punching the air and shouting YES YES YEEEEEEHAW.......now the neighbours know i have really lost my marbles
Thanks mate.....you made my day.......have a big sloppy man's kiss right smack bang in the middle of your forehead.
And Hus.....thanks to you as well for trying....really appreciate it

I was just kidding, but I did see a lot of dark clothes while over there. I looked very out of place in my bright tshirt and shorts. Everybody else had on a rainjacket and had an umbrella.

Florida is a great place to be. As long as you stay away from the old people.
