Three Years on WinCustomize (and counting...)
what will the next three years bring?

This may not matter to most of you, but it does for me. I can't believe that today marks the three year anniversary of me joining WinCustomize (Member since 1/15/2008).
Remember when I threatened to leave this site? Click http://vistartxposed.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=354371 to read it. I'm glad that I decided to pull-through and stay as an active member of this community.
Here is what I want to accomplish during the next three years (If anybody cares):
->Build a "Glassphire 2" Icon Set (Command Prompt is already finished. Click https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/misc_icons/4284/ to download.)
->Build a "Glassphrie 2" WB skin. (The current one is rather dated, as it doesn't support Win7.) Click https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/6924/ to download.)
->Upgrade my member status to the next rank up (whatever that may be)
->Upload more super-cool screenshots!
->Maybe think up of some completely new projects.
And that's all I can think of for now.
I hope to still serve as an active member of WinCustomize throughout the next three years as well.

Many times, and in many different places this has been covered, but to reiterate:
There are two certain ways that one/one's "friends" prevent promotion here at WC:
1) Asking for or talking about why you believe you deserve it: Those who promote don't like the "They'll do/did it to please me" or the "They'll do/did it because X said he/she deserved it". Those who do promote members don't wish to appear as if they were influenced by anyone's say so.
2) Being cruel/purposely unkind to other Community members. A member becomes eligible or not for promotion by one's behavior in Forums and in the Galleries: Viz. "in public".
Hope this helps you enjoy the next three years as successfully as you hope. Keeping the above in mind should certainly help.

I took it more as an aim...than talking himself up and saying he deserved it... part of the 3 year plan... nothing wrong with striving.....

You've been here three years! That long, really? 
It's so nice to know that there are 'young folks' in the community who someday will turn into the 'old folks'. 
Hope your next three years are as enjoyable for you.
