since i installed iconpackager, when i click on a folder its the search window thath open. what can i do if i dont wanna uninstall iconpackager??

All IP does is change icons, it doesn't change how folders work.

You know the real kicker...we get help questions for somebody elses software on the help board, but all the Stardock help questions go right to the general board...

yeah thats it, when i right click on a folder the XP search screen comes up ...... only since i install iconpackager... if i come back in time it works

It should be your left click button.... and to fix this:
Control Panel/Classic View (for XP)/folder options/File type/Highlight Folders/Advance/Open/set as default
...OK....done.
