Objectdock..Drag & Drop?

Please excuse my noob style question, but i am just that.....Im sure i could just drag & drop desktop icons/shortcuts (i.e my computer,explorer etc) into objectdock, and they would stay there, but now i cant 
, was it just a dream b4, or am i being a king noob?. (If i cant drag and drop them, can someone tell me how to get 'my computer' into objectdock) thankyou all, jayjay

Don't know why you're having trouble with drag & drop, but to setup a My Computer link try this............
in the tile properties;
link = explorer.exe
arguments = ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
