Latest WindowBlinds (7.19d) Tool-tip Issue

Friday, November 26, 2010 by Einstein | Discussion: Stardock Support General

This just showed up for me recently, so I think it is just an issue with the latest release. But I don't want this to go unnoticed because it is driving me nuts.

All tool-tips will be hidden behind the borders of skinned windows. Here are some screen shots:

Sys Tray Yes, that is supposed to say "Impulse"

Also Desktop Icons Not only the system tray, but desktop tool-tips are also exhibiting the behavior.

I know people are gone for the weekend - and this might not be the correct forum for beta software, but I didn't want it to go unsaid.

Thx, Einstein

Assuming this is XP this is the per pixel window OS bug that XP has.

A reboot will sort that out.

Neil, there is a Windows 7 aero peek button right of the systray.

Looks like Aero Station? WB, I mean.

You are correct, Neil. I am on XP (still). I rebooted and it seems to be fixed. Odd, that I hadn't experienced it in prior builds. Will I need to reboot more often with this build?

RedneckDude, Yes this is Aero Station - that Windows 7 peek button is just for looks, it has no functionality.

Thx again for the quick response - I hope you enjoyed your T-day!
