I can see that this is going to be a great time of the year for folks looking for new themes for their desktops.

Small suggestion, Tim:
And perhaps something different than those nasty "generic" buttons (and button colors).
Everybody seems to not being able to think other than square/rectangular.
Be different.

a Very Vibrant Venture....
nice grey gradients.... not keen on the fine red line though.... think it detracts from the overall look....too busy...

Id hardly say that's different Snoweh, 'tis pretty much how Vista and 7 buttons are shaped \ placed.

Yeah but not as close, min, max. They all seem to be on the squarish side. Glass orbs maybe.

Some of my decisions are due to the limitations of OS. Win7 doesn't allow for much flexibility in for example taskbar buttons.
Anyway as I said

Can't tell if it's PS line thingies or part of the design...but I like it except for the sharp red lines.

Looks very promising! Love how deep the color saturation is.
