Really nice lighting and shadowing used with clean edges/lines throughout. Love the coloring but will it recolor well without being too dramatic in one range or the other? Sometimes that's a problem with mutli-color skins, users are always finding the latest and greatest new wallpaper, icon set, etc. and want their favorite blind to match up accordingly. Overall, design looks like a winner to me though based on the screenshot. Very clean, very user friendly, eye candy for sure... ![]()

I have put the startpanel and taskbar into a blind to test it. I am just not liking the red buttons. (kinda hate em even) Back to the drawing board!

I agree, Tim, the red is just too red....too much contrast with the gray. A toned down blue or silver could look really nice, as could a lincoln green and an amber gold.

Amber gold or silver. Personally I'd go with the gold. silver would look too much like a white against the gradient. IMHO

Red , best used in moderation, unless... its used with black ![]()

Looking great ![]()
Smart move by dropping the red lines, the skin looks very clean and smooth.

I'm not liking the red in mt Endeavor blind WIP, which is one reason I never finished it. What was I thinking.
But it was used with black. ![]()

I prefer the button gfx on the first version. They seem shinier, and the amber is better than the yellow.

agree
red is better...and like the amber over the yellow....

Always progress!
I`m out at sea at the moment (I work on a passenger ship) and I don`t have a stable internet connection all the time, so updates will be sporatic for the next 2 weeks.

Then make sure you stop by the island of Lesbos and say hi to the ladies. Just don't eat anything. They'll stuff you up and have you for lunch the next day ...... as the main course. ![]()

command bar buttons, actually mouseover and selected, but the toolbar buttons may look like that too.
Anyone that knows me well, could tell you that nothing I do is set in stone before I actually upload. I'm constantly making small changes as I go along.
It's actually a pain when I have to go back and change something major.....that's why I'm determined to not give into my impulse to put what I've done into a blind yet.
