Weekends usually mean longer, more challenging rides and an appropriate food / nap recovery period.
All-in-all, this leaves little time for skinning after the requisite day-to-day duties. Essentially, this Summer, I've traded one hobby for another. And yeah, we wear all that "fruity" looking lycra gear.
In the Summer heat, it's the only thing that's comfortable. On the trail it looks appropriate. At Starbucks, you look the total goofball.
On a really positive note, I've dropped back down to my ideal weight and I'm more fit than I've been in a dozen years or more. On a less positive note, my lower legs look as if a beaver has been trying to fell me one-bite-at-a-time.

As winter and shorter days dictate less riding time, I'm certain to fill my days with skinning related diversions. I've got lots of neat ideas but not enough time to get them out of my head and on to the screen. Pesky job keeps getting in the way.

Keep enjoying it and know that I (and dozens like me) will sit here patiently waiting for your return.
Best Wishes to your family
