Neil, I have discovered that my graphics driver wasn't installed correctly and that was the problem with my context menu. Nothing to do with WinFX. I am sorry.

Still the thing with photoshop exists. Maybe we could get an exclusion list option, like with WB7?

I'll wait for the final release. WindowFX is way to slick to fool with. I remember having an old version on my emachine and it gave it the willies. But that may have been my fooling around with all the effects one after another.

Works great on my Vista machine. My laptop with Win 7 takes a long time coming out of hibernation so I had to turn it off. Nice work anyways.

XPHomeSP3 with MSExcel version 2003 (current patches)  I know, old o/s and ancient app, just throwing it out here in case it's useful.

EDIT:  ***Only seems to be happening with Windowblinds running.  Tried it with Gloss Black loaded and Polaris loaded, crashes on both.  Doesn't crash after unloading Windowblinds via systray unload.

Crashes Excel:

Enable WinFX4 Config HomeTab "Add additional options to the window right click menu".

Go to Excel window titlebar right-click menu "Window maximizing control".

Select anything other than "Always maximize to normal size".

Causes Excel to crash when clicking on the Excel window maximize button to execute the alternate maximized size. (crashes hard, exel.exe process just disappears from task manager)

Double-clicking on Excel window borders to resize works fine.  Right-click "Window size control" resizing works fine.  No animations enabled (XP).

Liking it in general.  Resizing enhancements are quite handy. Multi-monitor flash video fullscreen control in itself is worth having it installed.

Inactive windows set to make transparent.

Two or more windows on the desktop.

When restoring a window from the taskbar, it remains transparent when clicked on even while dragging it. One of the inactive windows has to be clicked to get a solid window, or click on the desktop, then you can click on the window restored from the taskbar to make it solid. Hopefully some of that made sense.

On the desktop, it changes focus from window to window correctly.

I'm not seeing this app in Impulse.  I have 'show pre-releases ticked and I have reset data, etc, but still it is not showing.  My ObjectDesktop sub is current to Feb 2011, so it's not that, either.

The "flick" options screen could be a little cleaner, instead of saying "to the left" at the end of each option, could each dropdown be titled "Left" "Right" etc?

W7 64 - getting issues on shutdown with windows coming up with a message about closing explorer. It does it every time so FX is disabled for now.

Not seeing that on my Win 7 x64 rig.

I could not reproduce my issue with Outlook 2010. I was on a different machine however so it may or may not be relavant information.

I reported the failure of Firefox to return from minimized state. Well, I also had this:

I was updating Windows Live 2011 and at one point it minimizes itself, it never returned so I moused over it and could see that it was waiting for me to make a choice, but I couldn't get it to restore so I could make that choice.

So there is definitely a problem with things returning from minimization. I killed WinFX, restarted the install, no problems.
