I'm still having loads of fun with the 'GUI' of an aircraft in FSX.

First there was the 'original' loosely representational version....

Then I madly reworked it to show more....and have more features/function.....

Now I'm in the throes of doing it CORRECTLY.

The panel itself is from a high-res photo which annoyingly was not square-on...but had to be re-proportioned for corrected perspective, etc.

It now shows the controls and gauges in their real position/proportion...though the canopy is still more 'artist impression' than 100% right....at this stage.

 

Next time I'm in the US I will make a point of getting to see one of them [F105D] in the flesh and I'll be taking a LOT of pictures...

Annoying thing is I was within cooee of one and didn't realise..... Dulles Airport in Washington .... Darn it.

You know Mischief Night is close when you submit a reply and you get an error message that says you cannot submit an empty reply at the same time the page times out because the page was reset while you're busy submitting an empty reply.

Here's my reply it claims was empty ... If I was diapers when Tiggz made those then most of you guys were knee high to nuthin' skinning knees on grasshoppers. Now how is that empty I ask ya!!!

RnD .... got a PM from someone commenting on my screenshot with your Hardwood theme. He pointed out my Nexus dock and gave me a link to an image of Nexus with a Hardwood theme. Did you do one for Nexus? Just curious.

Got this in a PM this morning RedneckDude. Did you do docks for NEXUS? Just curious. I checked the .ini file and the author's name is MaLo. The PM came frome martinlo64

I see your Okt-desk. with the Hardwoodtheme and see that you use the Nexus Dock-it look better if you use in the dock the same theme.

Didn't do it because I thought it was 'smut' and yes, its a real word. I was reminded of the guidelines and thought the breasts would get it pulled. I'm glad I was wrong.

Uvah, thanks for the heads up. It is ok that the guy made the tile. I gave permission in the grahics gallery.

What isn't ok is that he failed to include permission, and the link he sent is illegal, and you should edit it from your post.
