DesktopX won't start!

Version is 1.96 on Windows XP. All of a sudden I got a message saying that windows must shut down desktopX. When I try to restart it I get a message that says "application failed to initilize properly (0xc0000005) click to terminate application". I have uninstalled and reinstalled DesktopX twice and still get the same message. Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem? I need help!
