Help needed with IconPackager

Friday, September 12, 2003 by Lady Aarielle | Discussion: Stardock Software

I bought IconPackager ("applies sets of icons called icon packages to your entire system at once"). because the description of it sounded just like the WindowBlinds description. I thought it would function the same--download, click, and apply. However, yesterday I tried to download 9 packages and only 3 of the 9 sets went into the 'Icon Packager' the other six went into folders or files or something(I have no clue what to do with them or zip folders etc.). I'm a real "Newbie"!! I read the help guide but it just doesn't help with step by step details. Would someone please help!! I use Windows XP. Thanks.

Double click on the file....if it's zipped, it will unzip it. If it's not (or after you unzip it) it will install and give you the MS Start Menu disclaimer prompt (just click OK). If you don't want to load the theme just click cancel and click 'no' when it asks if you want to apply changes. (If you can't find the 6 files after you downloaded, do a search)

It would be easy if you made a folder and called it Icons. When you d/l icons send them all into that ONE folder, that way you always know where they are.
