Recurring Fences Pro Crash
Thursday, September 23, 2010 by Daiwa | Discussion: Object Desktop
Can't find a Fences section in Stardock Support so posting here.
Keep getting this Fences.exe crash/error message randomly, when not doing anything with Fences or the desktop; just pops up out of nowhere:
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Fresh install, XPP SP3 with all OS updates (before Fences install), drive reformatted only 6 days ago (yeah, it was ugly); running MS Security Essentials & Comodo Firewall. FWIW, I've not yet gotten around to creating any fences or otherwise 'using' the program yet - simply installed the app.

Should I have received some sort of acknowledgment from [email protected] by now, Shirley? So far, over two weeks & nada.

Now having the same Fences crash on another machine with XPP SP3, MSSE & Comodo Firewall. Actually using Fences on this machine. Just happening randomly. Kind of like the WindowFX "An unsupported operation has been attempted." annoyance. No apparent collateral damage.
