Reported Attack Page

forums.wincustomize.com is being reported as an attack page if you set your security settings in firefox to block reported attack sites.
Is this an issue with firefox and www.stopbadware.org or just my system?

oh i had this attack page, when i pressed ignore it took me to mozilla malware warning site. well have turned off warnings and now can access forums

We apologize for the inconvenience folks. We have taken multiple steps to try and resolve this issue, but it is now in Google's hands.
Note: For those of you installing and uninstalling your browser: Don't. The issue is not your machine or your browser. You have not been hacked or compromised. This is a problem with Google and our sites. It will be resolved in time.

I have been getting Avast warnings about a malicious url (livertip) when entering JoeUser forums, and I just got one when entering these (WC) forums. Odd, since I had been in the forums, off and on for over an hour, then it just popped up when re-entering the forum. I can still navigate to the forums without any further problems. I just wanted to report it.
IE8 Win7/64

been having the same issue with Joeuser forums, I simply changed the settings in Firefox for now till it's resolved. Besides, I don't hang around many sites to worry about an attack. Hope you fix this soon though, kinda sucks when these things happen.

I'm new to this. Please explain to me what an "attack page" is. ithink you are talking about a web site that might have worms, virusus, etc?

Before this "StopBadware" site came along I never had any problems and my anti virus took care of these things. What's really the point of this all of a sudden? What we need is a "StopAnnoyingware.org" site. This reminds me of those commercials running now claiming to make your pc run a million times faster now cashing in on peoples ignorance. I just turned the thing off and guess what happened...nothing! It's like that site never existed and everything's just fine. Go figure!

I know how to fix it throw firefox in the garbage and get www.opera.com its become the best fuckin browswer since version 10.0 came out

JoeUser and WinCustomize are NOT attack pages. Stardock is working to resolve the matter.

Just installed FF4 Beta 7 & re-enabled 'Block Reported Attack Sites' - the outfit they get their data from still thinks JU is an attack site, but in this version a notification bar pops up that allows you to report JU as 'not an attack page' & it won't block it the next time. You can still keep the block function enabled in the Security Tab once you do that. FWIW

I have FireFox 3.6.13, latest update, my block attack pages is enabled and I just got back from JoeUser. It did not report it as an attack page.

We narrowed down the issue that was causing the site to be flagged. It should not be showing warning pages anymore. If it is, please screenshot it.

This explains it a little better. (H/T tazgecko) Both Google & Mozilla are using this third party scanning service, IE is not.
