DX and dual monitors.

Saturday, August 16, 2003 by UBoB | Discussion: Stardock Software

Is there a way to run Desktop X with dual monitors? At this point it only seems to work on the primary display.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

motion, I know DX supports Multi-Monitor support since beta 1.99d

"...MultiMonitor support. Objects can now be dragged to other desktops and saved in
that position. IconX only functions on the primary monitor at the moment though,
but that's coming. "

That's from SD Central. But that's as far as I can help you, I don't know how to put it to work. But atleast you know it's there...

...ahh, thanks Hus. Is the new 'fish' thing considered an object? If so, I can't drag it to the other monitor, in fact, when it 'swims' toward that monitor it just disappears when it 'crosses over'.

However, the dual wallpapers work.

At least I understand why my Icons won't drag to the other monitor.
