Can't Install on win7 ultimate
ran as administrator and use default path

I just couldn't install fences on my win7 ultimate. (run as administrator)
The message I got was:
The InstallAware Wizard for Fences has failed: "The system cannot find the path specified". Please check your settings and try again.
Again I ran as administrator and use the default installation path.

What security and AV apps are you using? What brand of computer? 32 bit or 64?

I downloaded the free version from stardock's website: https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/downloads.asp
my laptop:
HP G60-132CA, win7 ulti. 32 bit. + win builtiin firewall.
Antivirus Avast! home

This should be moved to the Support forum and I suggest you fire off an e-mail to support at stardock dot com.
I use Avast and windows firewall also and have Fences on my secondary rig with no problems.

Where did you get fences? Is it standalone, free, or do you use Impulse to try to install it?
