They're always fun.
If you're wondering what they are they're Fords and Holdens [GM] - called V8 Supercars [Touring Cars] and are noted as the fastest/closest tin-top Touring Car class on the planet. Bathurst is the big one....PI is the lead-up enduro race that used to be Sandown. [and Jeremy...it's Bathurst....like 'math', not baRthurst like 'Bath'.]...
October I'll be back there for the MotoGP....fewer wheels....similar speeds...

Yep, we get 'em on SPEED Channel although not always live.
Similar to the GT2 class in ALMS
I've come to like the Daytona Prototypes from the Rolex series (qualoty drivers) and I like the diesel tehnology coming from the Lemans Prototypes.........still.....nothing like the sound of a V8 screaming down the straight....

Cool, the last time I was at Phillip Island was for the bikes. Great fun.

Clever me forgot my camera...
Lowndes won the Enduro.....114 laps of PI gets a bit tedious....only 2 Safety Cars to keep 'em honest.
The Aussie Superbikes were much more fun....3 lead changes in one corner.....and about the fastest one on the circuit, too.[Turn 8] [that's 3 changes in the one corner...in the one lap...THAT'S close racing]...

Yes, they do...and mine is 'real' classy.....vga....not worth snapping something going 'quite' that quickly....
