Jafo, I actually have your Aston Martin Wallpaper up right now (had it for the past week or so). I'm a car nut. I won't use it if you put the XP logo on it. Of course, you could just call it Aston Martin XP, and people may download it just because it's called XP. Just say it's "optimized for XP".

Let me try to explain to all the xp artists...
Most of the artist here all make original work. Original meaning something that was created from scratch, and not copying anything from another (be it OS or graphics) person. The people here (myself included) see the xp stuff as copying the MS shite...which alot of us hate........am i making any sence? (not that MS is bad in any way *cough*)
I'm NOT saying that the work you XP artist are doing is not good....it is!!!...all i'm trying to say is that it's not like viewing an original piece of artwork (something that no-one has ever seen before).
The wallpaper section has become like walking into an art gallery, only to find everyone has decided to paint the same picture...
..well....that's my opinion anyway

For the life of me, does anyone else feel like they're out of touch with the general user? I can't figure out why people like these XP skins/wallpapers/themes so much.
It's even worse than the Aqua look.
You want to know what's really funny? Lots of people hate the new look who have the actual beta of Windows XP.

count me as one who 'doesn't get it'...
I never liked the new XP look... it's like a toy interface - way too cutsie for me. Like the rubber duckey thing in WinME...
the most irritating part is seeing all the walls with the windows logo - especially the walls that are Just the windows logo.

Just noticed this thread. I thought I was the only one gagging and choking over the XP "style"!
(And I use the term 'style' loosely. Even the "Whistler" look left a better taste in my mouth...)

I think you guys are being too sarcastic on this XP thing and this is not fair.
I made a search on the site and just could find 116 XP files ( once again, I said ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN XP files), with accountables updates.
Not that much huh?
For sure I believe there is room to feet a couple of dozen more.
There are some sections that I couldn't find one single XP skin, *almost crying* CoolPlayer, ColorPad, KewlPad and LiteStep.
So what are you XP skinners are waiting for? Go for it and be wellcome to the hall of fame!
*maybe is not a good idea...those apps are not that populars on ddls* =Þ

Hmm, while we're at it, we need an XP site skin as well. Now, we shouldn't be putting the average Joe who likes XP down like this. It's just a case of the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. They just want XP to look fresh and'll probably drop it when it actually comes out.
Now real skinning is just a step too far for these folks.
