Vista app problem

Thursday, August 26, 2010 by Stephanee | Discussion: Windows Vista

Hello, folks, I've got a problem. I'm on Vista, and have installed Leawo Free YouTube Downloader; the program is here -http://www.leawo.com/youtube-download/. This program worked fine in the past two weeks, I have used it to download some online videos to my computer. But now, the youtube downloader does not open. It appears in task manager as a process but not as an application. The process is still taking up 50% of the CPU. Any way to make the window appear?

Sounds like it might be a good idea to get rid of it!  Try Revo Uninstaller and use the most comprehensive mode (the bottom one).  Might be a good idea to create a system restore point first.

I agree with Cameo, shoul get rid of it and i have used Revo it is very effective but be careful, it is possible to damage your OS as it does offer deep access to your registry files, good program just make sure you are reading what you are clicking while running it. As for downloading web content like youtube vids etc.. try http://www.ant.com/video-downloader/ this is what i use, works well with my OS; Vista (Home premium) on a laptop.
