Want to save a default Background
Thursday, August 19, 2010 by dieboldt | Discussion: WindowBlinds Tutorials
Greetings, I'm new to WindowsBlinds and I'm looking for some help. To start with I want to save my original desktop which is setup with fences. When I go to the skins section where all of the skins are, it shows as default desktop as the last skin I tried Not what my default was. I want to change colors on some of the skins, to fit my taste. Will I be able to continue using Fences or will I have to use something that is designed in Blinds? I'm running Vista Home Prium on A 64bit machine, and Have Corel's Paint Shop Prio Photo that I have been using for quite some time

Thanks for the information. I'm a little leary of letting an applicatations have absolute control over what is installed. So I have been doing restore points prior tp installations.

This is a good practice.
All Stardock apps only control what they are designed to do, as with WB, skin Windows interface.
Stardock is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner so you can trust their software.

The only changes WindowBlinds will make to your desktop is if the skin has a wallpaper included and it is actually set-up to apply with the skin, there are very very few skins like this (maybe like 1 in 500), as far as Fences WindowBlinds will not affect your Fences set-up in any way.
