Fences and Multiple Desktops

I have looked at and even contacted the developers of Dexpot, and confirmed the fact that Dexpot and Fences are incompatible.
What I am looking for (currently looking at 10 other Dextop alternatives) is a Multiple Desktop Program that I can:
1) Switch amongst (a default in any Multiple Desktop program)
2) Sub-Classify Icons with Fences within/on each of the desktops
3) Have each of the Multiple Desktops accessible on each of the 4 monitors

why is that... cant fences be changed to work with virtual desktop managers... if not why not...

Due to how Fences is architected, this is unlikely to get resolved.

I'm not aware of any virtual desktop software that would get along with Fences.
