screenshots - do you download? why? why not?

i understand the reasoning for posting a screenshot. to show it off, show the creators how you've merged selected artworks together but why download a screenshot? to just view it at a later time?

maybe the same thing still applies, which i could see, but i meant in the wincustomize browser.
why download it instead of just viewing the larger 'preview' image that's available?

Maybe it is so you can see people's desktops and then download those skins if you like the combination.

Skinners and themers use screenshots to demonstrate works in progress, etc.....it's just a 'tool' to assist in developing skins.
Others use it to show how they've chosen combinations of such, etc....
