It is almost done (or so I think at the moment), excluding the max, min, close buttons and a few other tweaks.
I thought I saw somewhere you could include a graphic for the desktop wallpaper (I was just going to put a tileable item so it would fit all monitor resolutions), but I haven't been able to find it again.
I appreciate anyone taking the time to look at it and give me some feedback and suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

As Brainiac said it seems a little flat. Nothing really wrong with flat just maybe a little more 3d or definition between elements.
Keep going! You're off to a good start.

You caught me on the short cut for the button mouseover. I did a vertical flip to try and give it the pressed down look. Back to photoshop to do it the right way now. I'm not particularly happy with the start button mouse over either.
I really do appreciate the feedback. I see skins put up before they really should be. I wanted to do some of this back end work, so when I finally do submit it, people might think I really know what I'm doing.
Thanks again!

You might want to lose some marble, try to replace some pieces with another color (like brown for example.) you also might want to add some detailes.
oh, and the right side of the startmenu is stretched, you better tile it.
no offence, nice going for a first timer
