Cant register for ICO on SoaSE and cant add a registration for impulse

Hello, my name is Torikin. i have recently found SoaSE in a box in my garage and i really would like to get connected with this ICO thing.
here is what happens when creating an account on ICO
i enter a username, then i enter a password, then repeat password, then the CD key (That is the sticker in the box right?)
it then said"disconnected from ironclad online"
so then i re entered everything again and then i concluded it was my CD key cause when i enter it in cap(Which inside the SoaSE box its in caps) it runs out of room and it wont finish the CD Key. so i tryed it with the caps off and it fit in the text, but it still said "Disconnected from ironclad online".
So i started looking around in the forums to see if anyone has my problem, No one
So i saw that maybe i needed an update (hence the v.1.00 on the bottom right of my game) BTW i have SoaSE original
So then i downloaded impulse and tryed to update my game then came "Add Registration" and the dreaded CD Key(Serial Number in box?) again. after i filled out my infomation and it said "product registration failed - email or serial number you entered is invalid". now im started to think something is wrong with my serial number because theres an error everywhere i enter it.
Any one care to tell me what i did wrong?
i would really like to play ICO cause AI's are getting boring
P.S Im only 14 dont get to technical with me i Prob wont understand
