OK....so there's skinning 'bits' around....in the GUI....but the 'main' fun-of-the-moment is the wall....in-game shot of me [trying to] skinning planes in FSX.....and here I'm about 40 thou above Melbourne ....in a SU 47 'Berkut'.
In 15 minutes I can be buzzing over King Island...where I was born.....
Skinning in FSX is 'kinda' complicated.
Everything from XML coding to texture mapping and per-pixel editing, coding effects to activate correctly [eg. ABs]. [it's amazing how much stuff 'out there' that is clunky or missing one detail or another....and not just counting compatibility issues, either].
I hate alpha-blending.....and co-ords for gauges in a VC....it's all just too much like Litestep....you know, - complicated.....

Doc, assuming you're running Xtreme v10.x, switch the style of the weather icons to 'Style 2'. I think you'll thank me for it.

Thanks Jorge! Yep... much better! I wish I knew how to limit the size of the image of the weather (sun, fog, etc....).
Winstep is sooo great! love this program, and wish I knew more about it. I think I'm going to have to spend a lot more time just poking around in it. I'm really looking forward to your next developments in Winstep!

...after a few bad investments on the stock market.....I still have the Penthouse....but had to trade the scarab in on a lesser model....

Thanks so much, Xiandi! Actually your skin, Darker Side, would have gone nicely with this shot.
