Dual Monitor DX Woes
Can I get a DX Pro to help me?
Monday, June 14, 2010 by RedneckDude | Discussion: DesktopX
Hey all you Multi monitor DXers out there. I need help. I create DX themes. I make widgets from them.
I made one, all on monitor number one. But on loading as a widget, half the parts are on monitor 2 and one part is so far off the right edge of mon. 2 that it ends up somewhere inside my tower...lol.
Any ideas?
All x and y coordinates are in the first monitor. DX 3.5 Win7 HP.
I run a 23" and a 17".
1920x1080 and 1280x1024
Running as two seperate desktops, different walls, etc. I use Desktop Fusion to allow a smart taskbar on monitor 2.

RedneckDude it might also help someone to know the set up, i.e. one card with dual monitor output or two cards, make and model of the card or cards, OS.
Someone who runs dual monitors similiar to your configuration will not doubt stop by. ![]()

I run dual monitors but because of the big difference in sizes (37 & 22 in) I run in clone mode. If you are running in total desktop area see if changing the resolution will help.
