Icon Packager crashing desktop
Are any OD apps actually stable??

I stopped using OD several years ago due to consistant stability issues, but thought, many years on, surely thinhgs should have improved... it would appear Im sadly mistaken...
Even during install, things seemd to go wrong... and I had to reboot my pc, as my desktop had become unusable, frozen screen, unresponsive taskbar and windows etc...
Anyway, everytime I run IconPackager, icons appear to change, but then my desktop locks up, agian with frozen windows, unresponsive taskbar.. and Im forced to reboot or at least log off and back in again...
Whats going on???
Ive recently done a clean install of XP SP3, all updates, latest drivers.. I have a i7 920, 6gb ram, 4890 gfx card... and never have any stability issues until installing these apps...
Not very happy really....

because I have a multiboot system, but use xp as a base os... and use hyperos to clone/manage multiple systems (XP & W7)...
Just realised this is wincustomise forum, not stardock.. will post there instead!!

Why do you have 6GB RAM if you have Windows XP?
